The purpose of BACCHUS (Boosting Alcohol Conscientious Concerning the Health of University Students) is to educate the college community regarding the needs and problems associated with the use and abuse of alcohol and other drugs. To advocate alternative choices using alcohol and other drugs for promotion of a healthier lifestyle. The purpose of this club is to create a magazine that all students can relate to. Bring different cultures together on campus, helping to understand various perspectives on issues such as sex, relationships, peer pressure, societal standards and how to deal with stress. SUNY Cortland Emergency Squad (SCES)
A student originated, student run, campus based response team for emergency aid. To date the squad has 45 active members. Most all are certified in CPR and have some type of first aid training. Fifteen members are state certified Emergency Medical Technicians.
