Judicial Affairs Office

Leadership Opportunities

The Judicial Affairs Office offers leadership opportunities for both students and faculty/staff. [**Please scroll down to the end of this page to access justice applications online.**]

Students are encouraged to participate as student justices, serving on either the Judicial Review Board (JRB) or the College Hearing Panel(CHP). Student justices will listen to and review evidence on cases presented to the hearing board, decide on whether or not a student is in violation, and impose any sanctions if necessary. In addition to the experience, students also receive one credit for their participation.

Judicial Affairs is also seeking participation from faculty and staff. Faculty and staff are needed to serve as justices on both JRB and CHP. This provides an opportunity for faculty and staff to positively interact with student justices and also have a role in educating students outside the classroom.

Applications are solicited each spring for the following academic year. Please select the following links and print copies of the Student Justice Application, Faculty/Staff Justice Application, Nomination Form and/or Recommenation Form as needed. Completed applications and forms may be mailed to or dropped off at Judicial Affairs, Corey Union, Room 409-B. (Two completed recommendation forms are required for student applications.) The deadline for completed applications is "To Be Announced," (March 2009)
