Student Perspective

"Looking back, making a decision to enter the Gerontology Program as a freshman had been an unsure choice on my part because I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted to study in college. Now I know this choice has been one of the best I could have ever made. This program has offered so much, I have been involved in many diverse learning experiences through classes, personal contacts with students and professors, going to gerontology conferences and more. I feel that being part of this program at college helped me to make some decisions about my future, especially graduate school and a career in gerontology."
