Welcome!
A growing number of alumni, employees and friends of SUNY Cortland recognize that private support is needed if SUNY Cortland is to fulfill its mission and remain as one of the top values in education. Many are now including the Cortland College Foundation in their estate plans or intend to benefit the College through a planned gift.
The Planned Gifts Office is available to help those alumni and friends who would like to explore creative ways to fulfill their charitable intentions towards the College that does not risk financial security for themselves or their families.
To recognize those who have chosen to honor the College with a planned gift or through their estate plans, the College invites these individuals to join the Lofty Elm Society, which gets its name from the first verse in the Alma Mater.
