The
Career Services Library, located in Van Hoesen Hall, Room B-7, is a
comprehensive resource library. It is open and staffed, Monday through
Friday, from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., and on Tuesdays until 7 p.m. during
the academic semesters. The Library is also open during semester breaks;
call (607) 753-4715 for possible schedule changes during summer and
semester breaks.
The Library contains print, video and computer information on
majors, career choice, occupations, job search skills and resources,
scholarships, graduate and professional schools, volunteer, summer
and internship opportunities and academic and professional employment
listings. More than 2,000 resources are categorized in an easy-to-use
color-coded system differentiating the various sections of the library.
Lynn Rogers, career resource librarian is available during library
hours to answer questions.
WEB ACCESS - Come in to do your career related research in the library.
A laser printer is also available for clean printing of your resume
and cover letter.
CAREER SERVICES WEBSITE - includes up to date information on office programming; provides
pdf documents of in-office paperwork; provides a starting point for
any career related question you may have.
FOCUS - is a computerized
career and education planning system involving self-assessment, occupational
searches keyed to your interest, and major areas of study.
