Wedding at the Alumni House

Facility Rental

The SUNY Cortland Alumni House, including the outside grounds and the luxurious featured rooms, may be rented for events such as weddings, conferences, meetings and parties.

Here is an overview of our rental requirements:

  • The Alumni House can accommodate a maximum of 175 guests inside and 250 outside.
  • Events at the Alumni House are to conclude by 10 p.m. Music must end by 10 p.m. and caterers must be out by 11 p.m.
  • A usage fee ranging from $75 to $1,000 will be required, dependent on the number of people, duration and type of event.
  • A security deposit of up to $700 is required, dependent on the number of people, duration and type of event.
  • Wireless internet service is available throughout the house.
  • Only registered guests may stay overnight.
  • For a wedding, lodging rooms must be rented for two nights.
  • The Alumni House is a smoke-free environment, except where designated.
  • Pets, except those assisting the physically impaired, are not allowed in the building or on the grounds.
  • The policies and procedures must be followed.
